We are proud to announce that Heather Aspinall has been shortlisted for Property Professional of the Year at the Insider North West Young Professionals Awards.
Hosted annually the awards celebrate the achievements of exceptional business talent aged 35 and under from across the North West. The event is widely recognised as one of the region’s most anticipated networking occasions for emerging leaders across sectors including property, law, finance, marketing and more.
Heather’s nomination reflects her impressive contribution to GIA and her growing reputation within the industry.

As an Assistant Surveyor specialising in Daylight, Sunlight and Rights of Light, Heather provides expert design input, technical reporting and strategic advice across a diverse portfolio of projects. Working closely with architects, planners and clients, she plays a key role in helping design teams achieve compliant and well-considered outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on architectural quality.
Although one of the younger members of the team, Heather is distinguished not by her age but by her professionalism, maturity and drive. Her diligence and dedication make her a highly valued member of the business and a truly deserving finalist for this recognition.
Michael Beatty, Director and Head of Manchester at GIA, said:
“Heather stands out for her genuine spark to learn and her constant drive to grow. She actively seeks new challenges, embraces feedback, and consistently builds on her skills with enthusiasm and focus.
Her energy is contagious, bringing positivity and momentum to the office and to every project she supports. Just as importantly, she is exceptionally reliable following through on commitments and meeting deadlines.”
The winners of all the categories will be announced during the awards dinner on Thursday 30 April at Emirates, Old Trafford, Manchester and we look forward to celebrating with Heather, and everyone shortlisted.
