At 173 metres and 55 storeys high, One Heritage Tower will be the tallest tower in Salford and the second tallest in Manchester. The developement offers 545 residential apartments and proposes 5,400 sq ft of commercial space, as well as a gym, co-working facilities and a residents’ sky lounge. The project forms part of the Greengate Regeneration Strategy.
GIA provided daylight and sunlight as well as wind microclimate services, using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), a digitally simulated wind tunnel test that replicates a physical wind tunnel. CFD assessments can provide significant programme and budget advantages over traditional assessment methods.
