GIA has been providing advice on Rights of Light and Daylight and Sunlight matters for the redevelopment of the Shell Centre since 2011. Our expertise played a crucial role in obtaining planning consent by emphasising the impact of Daylight and Sunlight for both the development and the local area.
The project faced a judicial review challenge, and we were called upon to serve as an Expert Witness. We successfully assisted in negotiating the releases of Rights of Light with the relevant neighbors.
Throughout the construction process, GIA continued to provide guidance, collaborating with developers and neighbouring properties. Our Neighbourly Matters team also played a pivotal role, offering consultancy on a range of issues.
