North Quay, situated north of the Isle of Dogs, encompasses a 3.8-hectare area. In March 2022, outline planning permission was obtained for a mixed-use development spanning 2.5 million square feet. The approved development includes business facilities, residential spaces, a hotel, serviced apartments, student housing, and retail and leisure areas.
The development plan includes a range of building types, with heights reaching up to 65 storeys. Throughout the detailed and outline phases of the North Quay development, GIA provided daylight and sunlight consultancy.
