GIA provided Rights of Light, Daylight and Sunlight consultancy, and wind microclimate advice for Royalton Group & Frogmore’s £360m development at Cotton Quay, Salford.
The development consists of 1,490 homes, commercial, retail and leisure spaces, two hotels, a lido, and a multi-storey car park with a rooftop play area including a climbing wall, floating gardens. The development is divided into four quarters including two towers of 48 and 37 storeys.
Supporting a hybrid planning application, GIA provided advice on both the detailed and outline elements of the scheme. Our team worked closely with the different architects for each phase to ensure the implementation of consistent technical strategies were employed that aligned with the overall vision for the masterplan.
