GIA was appointed by the landlord to undertake strip out ane asbestos removal works for the 65,000sq.ft of retail accommodation. The works also consisted of the removal of the front façade of the premises and the installation of a new glazed/cladding system in line with the future tenant’s requirements.
GIA acted as Project Managers and Contract Administrators for the landlord, enabling works and façade replacement on the former BHS store on Lord Street Liverpool.
GIA specified, tendered and project managed the works to completion working alongside our colleagues at Graham (Main Contractor), FCH (Architects), Curtin (Structural) and GLP (M&E). GIA also acted as CDM Principal Designer on the project.
The works were completed on programme and budget enabling the tenant to commence fit out works and trading to agreed timescales.
